Los Angeles Theater Gold Signiture Series

This Series completed in March 25th 2012 captures theaters from Downtown LA and Hollywood in a warm light.  My goal with this series was to achieve a sense of warmth and radiance that emits from the art. Special gold and silver signed scripts in the background of the images make them very unique loose and fun. "Front row tickets for two" "The best seats in the house" and "Dance don't think" are some of the names.  There are also hidden writing's in a and behind some of the art. The larger pieces are 6'x4' and others vary mostly 24''x48''.

"I DO" New York CIty

 

This series was completed Oct 28th 2011 for the movie "I Do" thanks to the art direction by Micheal Fitzgerald.  There was a total of (7) large scale paintings ranging in size (6'x3', 6'x4', 8'x3')  Photo at top of images is of the actual set.  The art was inspires by numerous trips to NYC starting in 2007.  While in NYC I was fortunate to stumble upon the amazing art by Destroy Rebuild NYC http://www.destroyrebuildny.com/.  Our styles use similar process and have both been years in the making.  While creating this series of work I couldn't help but think of what they have already done as an inspiration.
